The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality and the
American Academy of Pediatrics recently announced a partnership to help spread valuable
information concerning the prevention of medical errors in children to pediatricians
across the country. AHRQ and the AAP are promoting a new fact sheet, "20 Tips
to Help Prevent Medical Errors in Children." The sheet includes evidence-based,
practical tips on avoiding medical errors related to prescription medicines, hospital
