CMS is posting correct par and non-par fees and limiting charges for individual procedures on carriers’ web sites, there by allowing you to charge Medicare patients the correct co-payments. Carriers were instructed to obtain the charge data (contained in the 2003 physician fee schedule with the revised 2003 conversion factor of $36.7856) onto their web sites by March 8th. If your carrier does not have the information on its web site, call them and ask for help concerning the fees or you may contact the CMS regional office staff in Ohio.
