FDA approves Faslodex as new therapy for breast cancer
The Food and Drug Administration recently approved Faslodex to be used as a new therapy for advanced breast cancer in patients whose disease continues to progress after other treatments. Faslodex was approved for use in post-menopausal women with hormone receptor positive metastatic breast cancer. The drug is administered by injection once a month and should be made available for use by the end of May.
