Ohio Department of Insurance Director Ann Womer Benjamin today announced former Ohio state legislator Dennis Stapleton has joined the Department as Assistant Director of the Office of Life and Health Services. Stapleton spent the last eight years as a State Representative in the Ohio House for the 88th District, which encompasses Adams, Fayette, Highland, and Pike counties. Stapleton worked to pass numerous bills as Chairman of the House Insurance Committee, and he co-sponsored important prompt pay and agent licensing legislation. Stapleton also served on the Education, Local Government, and Retirement and Aging Committees.
